Welcome to the Northern Ireland FSB Celebrating Small Business Awards! At the 2020 Awards, we crowned 12 fantastic businesses of different shapes and sizes from across various sectors of the economy. We had self-employed businesses showcase their talents alongside established larger businesses with up to 250 employees. The standard was fantastic and this year we hope to celebrate even more great businesses.

WENDY AUSTIN has one of Northern Ireland’s best known voices. A journalist and broadcaster for 45 years, she presented radio and television programmes from Good Morning Ulster to Woman’s Hour and Inside Business for the BBC both in NI and nationwide. Her career started in local newspapers and the Belfast Telegraph, with a short spell in Downtown Radio.
Much in demand as a conference and awards host, Wendy has spent much of the year since she left the BBC working online, like the rest of us, presenting podcasts and webinars for CCEA, Ulster University Business School, and Danske Bank. She’s looking forward to being at an actual event again, with real live people!
